It’s been just under two years since Rory McIlroy won his first major championship, the U.S. Open at Congressional. This week at Memorial he’s looking to find similar feelings that he had two years ago when he trying to button up his game for the upcoming U.S. Open.
Yet this time around for McIlroy it’s a little bit different. Just last week he replaced his Nike Method putter for the Scotty Cameron he used for years as he rose to the #1 spot in the World Golf Ranking. McIlroy feels like his game is rounding into shape, but he’s struggling to manage his misses.
