Monday, June 3rd or otherwise known as Golf’s Longest Day required the Monday qualifier for the FedEx St. Jude Classic to take place on Sunday. Several interesting participants were in the field, including several players with St. Louis ties and others in the field on Monday at Old Warson Country Club.
It took 4-under par to qualify for the playoff to earn one of the four positions into this week’s PGA Tour Event. In the end, Charlie Holland, Trent Whitekiller, Chip Deason and Vince Covello. Chris Brant of Edwardsville, IL posted +1 to finish T57.
Carr Vernon, who will be teeing off in the first group on Monday at Old Warson Country Club, also finished T57 at +1.
Kevin Kring of Springfield, MO finished T70 at +3. Jordan McLaurin of Dronton, MO also posted 75.
