Algonquin Golf Club is playing host to the 36-hole qualifying where 61 players are competing to two spots in the 2013 United States Women’s Open Championship being played at Sebonack Golf Club in Southampton, NY.
Ellen Port was scheduled to play, but has withdrawn. Other locals in the field include Catherine Dolan, who qualified last week for the US Women’s Amateur Public Links Championship; Gina DelleCamera, the 2010 MAGA Junior Girls Champion; and Amanda Kim, the 2012-2013 MSHSAA Class 2 Individual Champion.
