Ellen Port posted Even Par, 71 and will carry a two stroke lead into the second round of the 75th Missouri Women’s Golf Association Championship at Old Kinderhook GC.
Port’s round included three birdies and three bogeys to go with twelve pars. Two shots back is the 2011 Champion, Catherine Dolan and McCall Christopher of Lee’s Summit. The 2010 Amateur Runner-Up, Katrina Choate starts the second round three shots back.
Brooke Cusumano of WingHaven Country Club posted a first round 78. University of Missouri’s, Laura Kraft carded a 79.
Round two begins Wednesday morning with tee times beginning at 8:00am.
