Van Pierce of Saint Albans, Dan Frost of Columbia and Brian Haskell of St. Joseph are tied atop the leaderboard of the 2013 Missouri Mid Amateur Championship after posting first round, 4-under, 68’s.
Haskell isn’t the only past Mid-Amateur Champion in the mix as players prepare for the final round on Sunday. Brad Nurski, also of St. Jospeph, MO will begin the final round 1-shot back.
James Sucharski, Brent Mertz will start Sunday’s final round 2 shots off the pace with Don Bliss, Travis Mitchell and Jamie Hathcock 3 shots back.
Nine players broke par at Silo Ridge Golf Club.
The final pairing of Pierce, Frost and Haskell tee off at 10:30am on Sunday.
