Suhre, Anderson Win Pro Division at Publinx Open

Mike Suhre is one quite the run of late. The Oak Brook Golf Club Professional captured the Gateway PGA Match Play Championship last week, defeating Bob Gaus in the final match. Sunday he matched fellow professional, J.C. Anderson with 3-under par, 67 for co-medalist honors of the 54th Publinx Open – Pro Division.

It’s been a while since the Pro Division of the Publinx Open has featured as deep a field as represented this year. Several Touring Professionals made their way back to St. Louis for the annual shootout at Forest Park. Matt Rau who has played the NGA Tour in 2013 fired a 1-under par, 69. Chris Naegel, fresh of consecutive appearances on the Web.com Tour carded 72.  John Kelly finished at 4-over, 74.
